That blue is better than the light grey one, right?

I think both of those color options are great. I saw the gray one pictured and I thought it was w+h at first glance. Me personally I would opt for the heather gray, because it would match the majority of my wardrobe. But the navy is plenty versatile too.

    Nice jacket though.

I've found while I appreciate a lot of Norse Projects pieces, they can sometimes carry some sticker shock. Yep, comes with the territory of high internet street fashion, I know, but I've purchased some expensive shirts from Norse, unboxed them, and just felt underwhelmed by the materials and construction. But in fairness my only experience is OCBD's from Norse.

The wool sweaters are not very expensive (150-200 range)

I would personally get more wear from option #2. I have something similar to option #1 seen here (which I don't wear):

This is another decent option that I've been looking at myself:

I don't know if they still make them but Troglodytus Homunculus (part of Seize sur Vingt), had a nice range of wool overshirts in great fabrics and cuts.

I agreethat #2 seems more versatile. Thanks for the other recommendations as well.

Yeah it looks nice, but I'm trying to avoid plaid so that it is more versatile.

Found these at a vintage store. They're going for $45. Apparently, the brand is Essex. It's all leather.

    Yes or no?

You should look into Campus Brand, I am sure you hear 'campus' and think late 70's garbage.... but the CPO's from the 50's and 60's. they are relatively common, and inexpensive but pretty much exactly like those.
