So at $70 a pop would you say they're a rip off, and if so, where can I get some similar quality shirts for ~$30-40 each?

Abercrombie quality is not worth that.

I'd be looking at:

- eBay
- Sales threads on forums
- eBay
- Shirts on sale on the net/in stores

For other shirts at that price ($70) as well as abercrombie for cheaper if that's your thing/you need multiple wear & tear shirts.

For $70 I'd say they are a rip off, if they were 30-40 they would be ok. I'd rather go for these: For $87.5 each you can get 2 toj shirts($95 if just buying one). Colby (ex MJK) sells shirts for around $60, look for the mjk thread. Also jcrew on sale is around $40/shirt, similar quality as af, not anywhere near as nice as toj.

No, boring is definitly not a strike in this case. They are extremly well made, great shape and have a bit more moc than boat shoe feeling. And not that expensive either... Getting european made shoes is hobo?

^hard to gauge those sunglasses without seeing them on your face. could be too small/big/heavy/etc.

I secretly want bv sunglasses fwiw. I could not wear those because the frame is too heavy.
