1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

black and brown is ok as long as the brown looks fairly dark itself

^ yeah i agree, think it usually looks best with either dark brown or a lighter tan, not so much everything in between.

Gentlemen, your responses to brown shoes with black jeans has left me confused.

A pic of the shoes as well as the jeans is given below. I just want to know this particular shoe will work with this particular jeans.

If I was smart enough to figure out the brown /black rule, i wouldn't be asking you guys. Of course I welcome your suggestions as to other shoes.

    Thanks

I think the black brown rule is bullshit and happily break it regularly and it looks great.

my guess is dude doesn't mean indigo jeans but he probably means washed black or distressed black, either way would look okay with those boots but they don't really do it for me.

    do you mean indigo jeans?
if so then they're both great, especially in a "MC does SW&D" context.

also, it's one of those strange things, but brown shoes sometimes look really good with jet black slim-to-skinny jeans. the black/brown rule is weird and i think has to be taken on a case by case basis.

Black & brown is probably the one rule I sort of agree with. Rarely do I see it working.

black and brown is ok as long as the brown looks fairly dark itself

^ yeah i agree, think it usually looks best with either dark brown or a lighter tan, not so much everything in between.

    The shoes in question

What do you think of these shoes ? Are they OK with black jeans (not jet black)

    The jeans

I mean to buy the Grensons to wear with these jeans. Any other shoes / boots which will got with these ? I am 32 and more from the MC side of things

Simple answer no, complex answer, possible. Just get some black boots, brown works best with indigo.

What's with you and being the resident asshole? What ever happened to "there's no such thing as a silly question?", it's comments like these that give the community a bad name. He did nothing wrong.

^ I know that everyone else is on board with the Junya tricksters but I don't like the thick sole. Evidently I am the only one who feels that way.
