IME, RL custom fit have been slimmer than any of the RL rugby shirts I've tried. I haven't worn either in a couple of years, but I always liked the fit of the custom ones better.

    black label >> custom fit

on gilt for even 100 right now, the military shirts are great

yeah I would say BL over that, but given the choice between Custom vs Rugby, I'm taking custom every time.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't ever tried on a RL Rugby shirt before, so I was unsure as to the fit.

I know you were trying to be a dick, but I really just don't get wtf that means.

I don't see how you could possibly see I was being rude. I'm way into retro trunks and was being suggestive to say to accentuate your potential purchase is to personalise it with monogrammed leather straps. The luggage can then be strapped to your car. Being presumptious I guess that you have a vehicle. Apologies.

    My bad.

Picked it up today for $35, a steal imo for an old school Hartmann leather suitcase.

I think the only way I'd wear it is if I could hide it with a cardigan or blazer.

lately I have considered doing this -- picking up a shirt that would be really pushing it if worn by itself, but which drops back a bit when under a cardigan or blazer.

I'm not a fan of the jacket, but I prefer a more minimalistic style. I do like those boots though.

Those boots shouldn't be in here. If you like the styling/color/shape of them a lot and you think you'd get a lot of use out of them, then buy them. If you're only considering them because they're Alden and feel you wouldn't wear them much, then don't

Yeah man, do it. Though I think I'd rather have one of the shirts. What's retail?

It's like 400 pounds. Backside has another face on it. Pretty cool. Where are the shirt versions available online?
