Loden wool, woven in Tirol for centuries, is known for its resistance to cold and wetness. Our project in collaboration with Epaulet introduces Alpine Loden, a modern 18oz fabric blend of 75% merino wool and 25% nylon, woven in Italy. It's lighter, more durable, wind-resistant, and more comfortable than traditional Loden fabric. Partnering with Rochester Tailored Clothing, we offer custom garments like sportcoats, suits, and overcoats, made to your specifications. Learn more about the Loden collection here.

NBs are everywhere, and for me having soft suede trainers doesn't really work as they will get dirty quick, and I like my trainers fresh

I just got these Salomon Odysseys, which I'm enjoying so far (just posted some pics w them in wdywt) and have serious dad points

Do you find these generally more comfortable than other salomons? I love my wings/xt-6/xt-4 but the sole is very stiff (makes sense for a hiker type of shoe), I’ve been into the lunar rock and the khaki cw if the odyssey but I’m not sure if I want them unless the sole is softer and generally more comfortable.

So I impulse-bought this because I somewhat liked the shilouette.

it’s not a swearshirt but knitted cotton, quite thick/heavy.

I’ve no idea how to wear it though, should I just return? The colour is listed as dark grey but it’s got a blue tint to it. So no idea what kind and colour of trousers I should wear with ir.

Baggy brown cords or cargo trousers.

Agree on the silhouette here; it's quite interesting. Who is the maker, if you don't mind my asking?

It could go with a number of pants. I sort of like the (somewhat) over-sized look. Came to it based on necessity in that I lost 50 pounds and couldn't afford to replace a number of items which I didn't want to part with anyway. :) However, yours looks a tad too over-sized.

Not an SF-approved brand I’m afraid, Weekday. It belongs to the H&M group, like COS, Arket etc.

I came across is don’t know how, prob. a Google search, and I figured I’d give the (more) oversized look a try without breaking the bank. And at least is cotton, not poly/acrylic.

COS and Arket actually aren't that bad imo - don't own any, so can't comment on quality, but I've browsed Arket a few times and always found at least a few designs to like. They seem to both be getting a little better every season, even if they may not be especially innovative - although there are many great brands that aren't. This also looks like it could be good to me.

I love COS, and the Arket things I’ve handled look/seem good too. This is lower quality though, Weekday seems to be aimed at younger people, like e.g. Pull&Bear or Bershka in the Inditex (Zara) group. Shape is great IMO though.
