Just to back on the topic of LHS’s for a second. I love em, I am young guy, and I don’t dress trad at all but it fits with my thrift Kapital goofy vibe a lot. I’ll often wear them with some Virgin Mary Kapital socks, jeans that are slightly cropped and a raggedy punk band t shirt with holes and **** in it tucked in.

Sucked to break in, but to me it was worth it. I got the color 8, at first I was convinced it looked old mannish but got some inspiration from late 70 pictures of punks taking some trad stuff and making it pretty cool,

I've always had an aversion to penny loafers because I thought they were too preppy, but I am coming around to thinking that they go with other fits like the ones you described.

I know they’re different, but any thoughts on Alden LHS vs Niche Marco as a slipon for workwear/gorpcore/japanese brand fits? Would either fit with casual suiting like camoshita style?

Not for Camoshita suits, but for the other stuff you mention, I would go with Paraboot Reims over LHS. Save the LHS for your preppy/trad fits.

Prada is cool, but not the jmw knockoff, they're not even a unique take on the silhouette. If you like the look, why not get the OG?

And usually I'm not the person who always says "why not get the CM shoe", but in this case I can't see a single advantage to getting the Prada model.

JM Westons can be difficult to size and they don't come in that color. That said, I prefer the JM Weston version. Prob depends on the outfit though.

not the color, or not hats?

The polo horse tends to be what people who don't know any better reach for when they are trying to dress up. Put it on a faux aged trucker hat and you hit peak grandfather golfing in Florida or peak fashion cluelessness, (wait, those two are the same).
