CALLING ON HOME SEWERS TO HELP HEALTHCARE WORKERS FIGHTING COVID-19
The lack of proper masks, gowns, and eyewear equipment is making it difficult for health workers to do their work fighting the novel coronavirus. In a recent New York Times article, medical workers said they were worried about how they can both fight the coronavirus without imperiling themselves, as well as their loved ones when they go back home.
If you are a home sewer, please consider helping my joining Hickey Freman Technical Vice President Jeffery Diduch in his effort to produce and deliver homemade gowns and masks to medical professionals in the greater Rochester, New York Area. Read about how you can help here

Side zips are hype, if you don't fold your pants it's all the same. And even if you do.@ericleavitt the side zip is cooler than the Chelsea, but the Chelsea is good, and if you’re gonna do a Chelsea, get milkshake. I’m regretting not grabbing a pair of milkshake side zips when I could.
@DoctorDisco tell us more about this diy idea
@DLester definitely not C, maybe none.
I like both, but I occasionally have problems with the zipper on side zips catching on the inside of the hem on pants and pulling the threads out. I mostly wear Chelseas these days.Chelsea>>side zips for me, as well. Clearly just personal preference
Go for it.I have a weird yearning for a varsity jacket in off-white leather and dark green wool, from here
