I seem to have a liking for things on the edge of being ugly lately... suede and twead sneakers from Losers, a rather niche (and I think now, defunct) Tokyo maker - at an extremely good price.

Thanks for the advice, @Benesyed @troika @MGoCrimson. I'm pretty set with my black boots (aforementioned Carmina and Buttero, plus a pair of PS Ricards from back when they made good shoes).

I really liked these Paul Stuart slip-ons on the Rake: https://therake.com/paul-stuart-black-calf-leather-harrier-formal-slip-on.html

Going to have to save up a bit more, though.

I liked those two but my lemaire are so similar. Great choice! Let me know how they work out for you!

i bought the third one and really like it. it has a nice volume to it. the fabric is very nice. it feels substantial.

the only thing that made me return it is the collar. i would have been perfectly happy to keep it, i think, but the collar doesn't pop up as cleanly. it either stand straight up or it sits flat, like in the photo.

feels like one of those coats i may regret returning, cause it has such nice volume and silhouette. but figured i'd wait for the right bal that allows me to wear the collar up.

fwiw, you've prob seen the designer wear that coat. he buttons it up at the top. i thought that was a cool styling move, although felt i'd just wear it open most of the top. if you button it at the top and wear a scarf the way he does, you get around the collar problem.

Who makes it? Google reverse image on a beige coat was useless.

I just bought the grey tweed one from Spier & Mackay. Needed something a bit warmer.

Camoshita from Trunk Clothiers.

Was eyeing this one too but @dieworkwear confirmed my concern about the collar.

I have this coat by Schneiders Salzburg (trad austrian) that I really like, mine is a cashmere/wool mix that is quite comfy.

Note: shop picture is **** I know.

Has anybody seen some trousers in a nice textured jaquard fabric?
Preferably black/navy/grey/charcoal in a casual trouser kind of style (so not EG or something, as much as I like the EG andovers)

Something like these from Paul Smith.
But, i have no interest in buying Paul Smith and these are too skinny anyway.

SSENSE models look like they’re about to sell you some Vidal Sassoon.

Help me choose the color and toggles of a new duffle coat
I was going to buy navy, but my wardrobe is almost all this color, camel I don't like, is olive or charchoal a good choice?

Would the toggles choose buffalo worn toggles or wooden toogles?
