Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

i just ordered this but upon closer inspection (magnify on gilt group marc by marc sale)

the jacket seems to not be of hefty kevlar-ish material but like a lightweight silk-texture-type shell

is that right?

It's the fill/lining that will make it warm.

right. but aesthetically, i dont think i like the shell if it will be too soft and silk textured. i was hoping it would be harder textured like some of those North Face ski jackets and stuff.

PP, the best of those are the boots and blachwatch coat. The rest is pretty bland imo.
