1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You guys are overthinking hoodies too much. They're perfect for running some errands or quickly throwing on before going over to a friend's place to just hang out. The w&h ones are a bit nicer/warmer than standard mall/aa hoodies. I dunno what people are expecting but a single hoodie or most any item won't turn someone into a style icon or something. Whatever you like though

RFX: If you're willing to proxy some F+B next time Barney's does the 40% off sale, let me know, that's a freaking steal considering I haven't found a place offering them in any decent models below retail or from any site with a coupon.

Do it on the F+Bs. I like the look and from all the research I did they're a pretty good deal. I think the waxed suede is dope, expecially the cinnamon color. Good way to spice up a black boot.

I agree, not feeling the material on that particular model either (it's oiled suede). The one I'm looking at is a black waxed suede.

    edit: here it is

    That boot is fucking hot

i hate the pocket location and styling. considered them myself but talked myself out of buying them simply as they where a unique kind of piece from WWM, rather than because they actually looked good

Those ones just posted look pretty shitty but the julius ones could do real well if worn right and i've seen some others that look solid. Probably harder to pull off than normal flat front but can be done by some stylish people.

Need a good leather dress belt to go with my brown PS brogues....what do you think for 95 euro shipped? I think that's roughly $140. I'm wanting a good quality, brown dress belt with a silver buckle. Simple, yet can't seem to pinpoint a good one for under 100$

    I like that. Try here:

    http://www.jonwye.com/Leather_Belts_s/32.htm

Page takes a while to open. Black and brown plain belts look really nice. Almost ordered. Stainless buckle. Sharp.

I actually owned a pair in gray and absolutely loved them. It's slim cut and the flannel is so fucking warm. Didn't fit my style but I'm sure there are those who can pull it off well.

I have these in the grey. I like them. The flannel is really warm, they're really comfortable and I like the way they fit me.

Maybe because some of us are bored with wearing only dark demin or chinos for our casual outfits-- just look at the WAYWT fits and notice how few are willing to deviate from those two pant choices! Both those pant styles tend to lack visual interest. The raw denim is often so dark and uniform in color that it can look bland and suffocating, and chinos are typically plain uniform fabric with little texture and a relative absence of details such as pockets and threading.

This type of scheme places a lot of responsibility on whatever you're wearing on top to deliver visual interest. Thus, if you like wearing a simple t-shirt with these pant styles, the overall outfit can frequently look very bland. But if the pants have some extra visual interest, often you can get away with something simpler on top. It's all about variety.

Regarding last cargo pant posted... While they're not my personal favorite, they're just like slim fit chinos but with two extra pockets on them. In the right context, a lot of things can work that people are quick to dismiss here. I'm thinking of that outfit Fuuma posted a couple weeks ago involving carrot shaped pants-- a style normally disliked by everyone, yet he made it work.

Shawl cardi with interesting brick pattern. Link leads to a light grey, I am considering the dark grey which only displays if you select it once you get to the site.

    eh?

(no pics postable due to Yoox)

[IMG] First pair or second? They're from the same company and the same price. The first one is labelled "dove grey" which gives me pause, but then again, it looks nothing like that color in the picture.

Lol @ conscious decision to cuff the cargo pants to show that plaid lining, looks atrocious.
