1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

haha you are really about voluminous pants these days! Im not tall enough and wayy too stocky to rock those. :embar:

that being said i can somewhat understand, i havent been as into recent fits or runway pics and i think its because ive just gotten really used to the slim shape.

    Linen popover with rolled sleeves?

Can't see you in polo, but unless you're Get Smart I dunno how you wear a short sleeve shirt

short sleeves shirt or polos, slightly oversized, slightly slouchy. works best if you're a slouchy person.

    this is the polo.

polo is nice because it's easily available, comfy and dry, and I can wash it without any hassle - critical in summer
    downside is it's boring

Oversized/loose fitting cuban collar shirts is what I think I'll be wearing this summer, Acne made some nice short-sleeve ones last year and H&M just put up a decent looking longsleeve one online

Obviously to be paired with voluminous and oversized shorts or trousers

Yeah totally. But like, what are options?
    - under $100
    - not see-through
    - can throw in the washing machine
    - preferably some kind of synthetic blend

Club Monaco have been doing a nice cotton/linen stand collar popover the last few summers for under $100 (I have one and love it), pretty sure muji have done the same. Nonnative do their short sleeve traveler/typewriter usually in some kind of linen or cotton/poly (I don't know how much cheaper NN is in Japan though, probably still over $100.)

@snowmanxl is making a poplin tee that could work, support your fellow Stylefarmer.

I would get some polos but stay away from the white. I think No Man Walks Alone will have some nice linen blend polos this SS16.

Spend the extra money and get a few nice ones to rotate with shirts.

If you take some time to look in CM forum there are some nice makers, too.

I like mine with a nice big collar. Like Eidos Lupo polo but that is $200+ I think unless you can find it on sale. Size up if you want that loose fit.

What about Dana Lee? Loose fitting short-sleeved shirts in interesting materials/ colors/ patterns seems very up her ally.

Don't feel like what she sells would really mesh with your current wardrobe, but maybe I'm wrong?

That white polo isn't great on you, NN. Looks really cheap. Try a loose/boxy fit short sleeve button up shirt. Would look nice with the pants you have on there. If you can't find any you can just chop the sleeves off a baggy button shirt and roll the sleeves half up your bicep. I used to do that, was nice in the summer. Have to make sure the sleeves are loose though, tight sleeves when it is hot and humid out are horrible.

For under $100 you can check out uniqlo linen shirts, ppl on here seemed to like it. I havent worn a polo in years but i got some cutaway collar ones from club monaco a few years ago for cheap and they were really nice for the price. Got them on sale for like 30% off

I like both, but lean towards the slip-ons.

Searched around for this on the website and didn't see anything. Partially because of their annoyingly small thumbs. Link?
