1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I like them. There's been a pair on eBay intermittently for ages (a couple of years I believe) but the guy wants $1100 or something iirc and I'm unsure about sizing -- so if you buy these, lmk :satisfied:. I'd be hesitant based on the condition of this pair, but I don't know much about shoe care / reconditioning and I'm sure that would get you somewhere.

i have an irrational and unwarranted disdain for all things rick and to go against it would be to go against everything that is righteous and holy in this world.

Yo anyone one the fence about one of these Le Labourer jackets should just buy one. Picked one up from @habitant and I like it soooo much.

This is not me at a macbook with a latte in my French work coat. But it's the same jacket I have.

I'm liking it here. Considering one now myself but my only concern is styling it without looking "old manish"

Embrace the old manish-ness. Or embrace the old man.

Ok, still trying to make a decision on the bomber. It'll be relatively similar to the APC x Louis W Ferris jacket (which, let's be real, is a relatively basic bomber design) but with some tweaks to the zippers, pockets, fit &c.

Vintage Vanson cowhide. I just asked shah and skitlets IRL and they were noncommittal.

Would pass on this one in particular.

From the small bits I can remember you wearing this seems pretty overly aggressive in cut (with the extremely large shoulders) for the rest. Not sure what you'd be better in, though.

And here I was about 65% leaning toward camel. I've pretty much eliminated navy. Decisions. :decisions:

From the perspective of clothing that's actually good and aesthetically interesting / pleasing, you're probably right; from the perspective of my lingering denimhead / repro / heritage collector mentality...I may anyway. :embar:

Agreed. @shoreman1782 strikes me as more of a bomber / trucker guy.

Appreciate the perspective. Maybe a little too Dice Clay on me.
