1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Interesting. I actually like the colors on all three.

@notwithit - I feel like #1 might be too bright to get much wear, although it does look a little more muted up close. Of these options I like #3 the best

FWIW, I like #2, because it feels like a nice mix between boring plaids I've seen too many times before (#3) and plaids that are just a touch too loud (#1).

Also, I've been back and forth on whether or not I should pick these up:

I'm still figuring out how I want to look and most of my wardrobe is pretty unassuming, but these are both really nice boots and not so out there that they don't seem like they wouldn't go with more boring fits. Plus I think I could snag them for a pretty reasonable price, if I go for it.

Definitely yay. Or if it's a good deal and a size medium, nay and tell me where to get it.
FWIW I really like the Guidis I have (back-zips, not lace-ups). Some people don't like the lack of structure in the toebox on some models, but it's never bothered me. They tend to run about a size small. I'm a US 12 on a brannock device and I take a 46 in Guidis.

This pair is a 43, and I usually jam a 41 or a 8.5-9US, which tends to be snug and then loosen up with wear, so these should fit fine. My feet are a touch narrow with a higher arches. My main worry with the boots is that they wouldn't work well outside of Gothninja fits like some guidi, but the 994 looks close enough to a traditional boot that I think I'd be okay.

They'll be fine. I probably wear my brown 986 back-zips most out of all of the boots I own, and they go surprisingly well with LVC 1947s, kinda like a more interesting take on an engineer boot.
