1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Some new footwear would "up" that look.

You're not wrong. I've had those CPs for like two and a half years, and letting them be my default shoe for so long has only exacerbated my footwear-related laziness.

The rips will stretch in the wash - in my Diesel days I went through dozens of pairs, several every year, ripped to shreds.

Now my collection is nearly at 20 pairs, and once my PBJ zip has been replaced, and my newest jeans altered, my collection of 20 should last for years..

People would probably go [IMG]if they were tapered below the knee. Wash is good w/ the cream 5zip imo

With different clothes, that outfit would be perfect!

But seriously, it's been two days and I am no closer to understanding the value of COS? :puzzled:

I like lots of what they have to offer but slightly disappointed in the two pieces I bought recently, stitching went on the first wear on some trousers and the fit of a shirt I got is just weird (online purchase).

Should I buy a United Bamboo fishtail parka or hold off and try to get my hands on a TOJ one?

Does COS actually ship from the US now meaning no customs or does the new website just mean they ship to the US? I asked them for measurements and their customer support was very responsive, but most of the good stuff is still EU only.

@noob most cos stuff disappoints IRL. fits are fairly loose/boxy, which could be good, but the material, despite having an appealing surface texture, is often too cheap to have much drape. construction is pretty meh, nothing washes well. it's a far cry from, say, schneider.
knits are generally their strong suit but the shape varies, often it can be quite bizarre with tight shoulders and a wide midsection.
having said that there are generally a couple of standout pieces each season, that coat KOY has for example. if you can be bothered to order a whole bunch there will probably be one or two that work for you.

yea I was looking through stuff to go with schneider mostly, the fits look like they could work together.

@robinsongreen68 just on the nothing washes well point. Have one of their shirts and any time I wash it it comes out with about a million creases, and it's a nightmare to iron. Find that with some of their stuff?
