Should I or shouldn't I buy... (clothing item)?

Generally speaking, it's easier to wear a darker jacket with lighter trousers than the other way around. The bigger the contrast the tougher it can be.

Here's some old Ervell collection photo that have somewhat similar pairings, though.

I wear my med. gray blazer with dark navy chinos some time, no pattern on either though. Works pretty well. White or pale blue shirt doe

I agree, but I think it's easier to do with neutrals -- grays, black and white -- than with color. I like those items, Mr Who. would be nice with a super minimal white dress shirt.

You should get both. When it comes to ponchos, the right question isn't "should I or shouldn't I" but "how many"
