1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Bam, pretty sure the pic you posted is of his 4 button blazer as opposed to the 5 button style that nicelynice is considering. The lapels are significantly thinner on the 5 button when worn down.

Yeah I'd describe the a1923 blazers as if harnden blazers and devoa blazers had a love child. Not really accurate, but definitely something harnden about it especially as they crumple, but cleaner, more form fitting and with harder fabrics like devoa (Without the sharp shoulders though).

99% of the lurker/new member posts during sale season are terrible. Every time I see a username I don't recognize, I prepare the block button.

He has a Harnden blazer, maybe more than one.

This is the FW13 jacket, slightly different than the FW12 I posted earlier, which doesn't look good at all with the lapels down. I like the cleaner look of the FW12, a bit of contrast from my PH - no breast pocket, 5 giant buttons, straight lines

I have a Harnden Long blazer I love and wear quite a bit - I actually just want the same thing but warmer and my wife told me I can't buy the exact same jacket in a thicker fabric

Am I the only one who doesn't like the A1923 jacket? Something about the buttons, and the fabric doesn't look that lux for what I assume to be a very expensive jacket.

Both Devoa and A+R cool, A+R probs a little bit more unique?

Christ, normally I'm willing to overlook these regular neural accidents that must be transmuted into insufferable and poorly-thought out posts purely through some perversion of synaptic engineering, but, no offense, I'm going to go ahead and tell you to shut the fuck up now. You've done nothing but add to the general pool of stupidity and vitriol that's been infecting the sewage-filled lower levels of this forum lately, and I'm half-tempted to start deleting your shit because I lose brain cells every single time I experience your mouth-breathing inability to stop yourself from running your goddamn mouth. This guy's been a member of this community for over four weeks, is trying to make friends here, and frankly, I'd rather listen to his distaste of a1923 than discuss your latest girlfriend drama or read your brainless diatribes on shit you don't understand - and, more importantly, have no desire to understand or discuss. I'd suggest that, before posting a knee-jerk reaction to this post, which will almost certainly have the backing of the entire forum, even people who don't like that guy, you seriously consider whether you want me to ask @Eason to track you down and fill your email inbox with uncomfortable pornography. Frankly, I'm embarrassed that I've already wasted this much time on you, but I'm even more embarrassed at your inability to contribute anything of worth to the community and your apparent inability to feel empathy. Embarrassment - but also pity. I sincerely hope you have no immediate plans to add to the gene pool.

Everyone wants to help you nicelynice! Fighting each other for the privilege :) Feel like it's between A + R and a1923 :)

Uncontrol really just typed what we were all thinking, but clearly you have a huge problem with him so why don't you just block him?

It comes as no surprise that noob's best post is just a copy-paste of something that an exponentially better human being wrote, with a few poorly executed jokes thrown in. He's not trying to make friends here – have you read anything else he's posted? Seriously, what the fuck is controversial about telling this idiot to shut up? Are we at the point now where we're expected to be nice to people who joined just to be total cunts?

On a more serious note, this might sound hokey, but please try to keep in mind that even though this is he interwebz, and you don't know everyone, and everyone may just look like a username with a bad opinion, they are still real people, with real feelings, who might even be going through something worse than breaking up with a girlfriend. Your block functions work. There is nothing exponentially better, or more humane, in this.

Or they may be turds who get a thrill out of walking around and rubbing their feces on every exposed surface they come across. Not saying that's what this dude is about, but I have no more or less reason to believe the poo-smearing scenario to be true than the "something worse than breaking up with a girlfriend" scenario.

Oh, the irony. But despite my pride, I agree with you. And you're right in that empathy's a trait easily ignored. I think I'll simply leave it at that and suggest that everyone - including you and me and Brad - take that to heart and try to be a bit more civil. Good? Good. Let's move on.
