Bought the J. Crew x Alden longwings, should I return and spend the extra 70-80 dollars for the Tricker's Keswicks?

Quality, aesthetics, both? Or maybe crusade against J. Crew?

    National pride obviously :)

Seriously - I'm not familiar enough with Alden's to know how the quality stacks up to Tricker's, but Tricker's quality is very very good.

I much prefer the aesthetics of the Keswick, but bear in mind the UK doesn't have much of a long wing tradition so maybe I'm just indoctrinated by my environment.

"ManofKent" should have been a dead giveaway haha

I recently bought my first pair of Tricker's (Paisley from STP), and the leather just feels a little nicer than the Aldens, at least to my untrained hand

Since you seem to want a response, my feeling is meh... it's fine but it doesn't do anything special for me. If it's cheap buy, otherwise don't. I also personally dislike double pockets on just about any shirt.

I'm not usually a fan of double pockets but on a woolen plaid flannel shirt, it makes more sense. Also, the color up close is much richer and more detailed...
