If they aren't sanforized they will shrink ~3% in the waist and a little more if you hot wash and machine dry fyi 3% of 32" is more than a full inch.

that's weak. I'm going to be in Venice tomorrow AM, do you want me to stop by and yell at them?

but seriously, a full inch sounds like a lot to ask in terms of shrinkage in the waist. is there any reason why you can't just exchange for the next size down?

^That's just what the guy at Stronghold just told me, too. I got the bright idea to call :) I won't dry them, but at least I will try a hot soak.

Stan, I got them off Ebay, so no. Worse comes to worse, it will at least me interesting to have the option of a looser jean. Everything else I have is slim-straight.

my N&F sanforized denim shrunk on average 4% all over, especially the hem by about 0.5-0.7 inches, and the inseam which barely stacks anymore, this is with 2 machine cold washes

im not sure what my point is

Are you sure about the colorway? Will be hard to wear..

I have never owned a MMM side-zip, but from what i read you need a 44.5 or 45 if posible.

I guess I'm just looking for a bomber-length coat—something that hits at, or just above, the waist. Bombers are cool, but I also wouldn't mind something with a ridiculously cool collar (see the photo below). This "need" is, I guess, all because 1) I pretty much don't have anything of an appropriate weight to wear for the fall, and 2) mad envy over Synth's TOJ b-ball and Cloak jacket.

    Raf haha!
I know, seems weird but measurements seem like a medium to me

ehhh... that Raf is cool but you kind of need to know what you're doing to pull that off, and it sounds like you don't quite have the wardrobe to do so.

that being said, if it's what you want then go for it, it's a nice piece. to be honest though, if you can hold out i'd just wait for ToJ (tentative) revival and buy an MA-1 from drew.

Just saw they don't have my size [IMG]

Can anyone tell me if they're as narrow as CP's or as wide as Lanvin's? Maybe I can take a 43..

If they're wide as Urth says a 43 could work, but if they're the same as CP's they'd probably be too narrow.. Maybe I should just order them and see for myself.

    Thanks both

I myself will never buy W+H jeans again after a huge rip in the knee after a couple washes. I can't comment on their pants though.
