Has anybody had any experiences with Roots shoes? I'm thinking of purchasing either a pair of Roots chukka boots in tribe leather or Clarks DBs in beeswax. I heard Clarks are now being made in Vietnam and the quality of their footwear is far below that of their original UK made counterparts. Roots shoes on the other hand are all made in Canada. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Cole Haan, $250. Mostly because I like the color, a muted green.

Thoughts? Alternatives? No sense of how CH rates in terms of quality.

Need more color in my wardrobe. But, orange always makes me think of Halloween and that's exactly how they've styled the model: orange and black. Having a hard time imagining other combos that would work. Experiences with nonnative? Or, is this a case where it's on sale for a reason?

Pass on the Cole Haan, shitty qaulity and at $250 an absolute joke. You could get MUCH MUCH better qaulity boots around sale time for that price, if not less.

Nonnative fits really small from my experience, but is really good qaulity. I like the vest a lot

If you like plastic "leather". And $250 is a complete joke, I could get two pairs of far better if I wanted to go used, one if not
