What do you guys think? Want to buy these Ann Ds

as a substitute (or more likely accompaniment if I can find the shoes to buy) to the shoes worn here:

Plan on wearing em in exactly the same way anyway as those pants are on my "to-buy" list for next Spring. Think it'll work?

I can't speak to the crazy runway fit in which the shoes are modeled, but those sneakers look fantastic.

No clue about the J. Crew slacks; never handled J. Crew pants before. People around here seem to love Epaulet pants, but I don't own any personally.

well im in luck. good to know/hear about these from someone with experience! deleted off my wtb list lol
as for my DIY project, they werent as low as i wanted them to be, plus the waist isnt high enough. they hit just below the knees and work really well as formal dress shorts. i wanted something a bit more anti-fit.

Those Anns are obviously beautiful, not sure if they'll work like those boots in the fit though

You can't tell much about how J Crew fits in real life by looking at online pics. J Crew is notorious for pinning clothes in its pics. Go try them on or if you can't and must buy online, be prepared to ship them back.

Gucci green suede boat-stitch boots. Looking for something comfy to kick around the city in. Not generally a fan of creepers, but these seem kinda cool. Yea or nay?

EDIT: Price is good, but I'm going to pass. Not really my style. And they are not creepers, just crepe. :embar:

I really liked them after seeing em on mrporter, however they seemed kinda pricey for what you get. Imho get some suede sperrys and get them resoled with a crepe wedge for 1/4 the price. If the price isn't an issue at all, Id probably kop.

Not sure about the wool slacks but I did buy a pair of 'urban slim fit' cotton slacks. (urban slim is such a lame name i almost passed them up)They do fit very similar to my W+H pants that cost 3x as much....

I've been looking for some decent slacks lately and if I can't find anything I like on B&S (size 32 if anyone has anything sell!- BoO, Schieder, Jil, MMM, etc would work) might try the bowery pants myself....
