I ultimately passed, but it doesn't flare out at the cuffs, just looks that way in the photo. I guess I don't really see how this piece has any more of an "expiration date" than anything else that comes from Julius, RO, Viridi-anne, Attachment, etc.
W+H x Dayton service boots? I know I'm behind the SF curve on this by a year and a bit, but I like brown boots, I always wear brown boots, and these ones are the nicest I've ever seen. And I'm finally willing to drop $700 on them.
I just can't figure out the sizing. I'm normally a 10.5, a 10 in 1000 Miles and Clarks and I want to throw some special insoles in these for comfort.
Just get the normal dayton boots in brown and distress them yourself. If not, I think you size down a whole size, either 9 or 9.5
I would, but I need them soon enough that a 4-6 week production time ain't gonna cut it for me.
It will be one of those 2 options. So yeh which one.
No, they're not worth it for 700, IMO. Get something better.
I'd say it's kind of a personal choice now
Requesting the internet to choose which shade of brown leather you like better..
Agreed, especially with Dayton selling the service boots for so much less. Just get a pair of F+Bs in brown or something.
Yeah, I'd skip the W+H boots at that price. I like my Daytons for $330, but I wouldn't pay over twice as much for some distressing and a stamp on the sole. $700 can get you a much better pair of boots, even more so if you're willing to tough it out until sales time.
If you end up going with Daytons, I sized down 1.5 (12 on a Brannock, 11.5 in Chucks, 44 in CPs), and I can still fit a thin insole in mine (I use the "2-oz. Miracle" insoles, FWIW).
Who's stocking this Acne jacket and how much?
