Should I keep or remove the leather "name tag" on my D&G briefcase?

Hi guys. On most high-end briefcases there is a hang tag (not price/model tag) for your name, like what is used for luggage. Is it proper to remove the hang tag because it looks "cheesy" or keep it because it adds to the visuals of the bag? I have also seen people replace the OEM leather tag with a personal hang tag. For the guys who care, what is the best look? Thanks...

leave the name on the metal closure.
not sure how you could remove it with ruining the closure.

the price tag comes off.\

is the hanging blue tag in matching fabric what you are talking about?
you can leave that or remove it if it gets in your way

Ask yourself which you prefer and you will have the answer.

I am referring to the leather hang tag that has a closure to put you name in, like some luggage bags have for traveling. I am not referring to the silver lock- just the matching leather hang tag. I don't see briefcases with matching ones, but I do see ones with non-matching ones, like in the movie "Derailed" with Jennifer Aniston in which a Prada briefcase is shown throughout the movie with a silver name tag.

I took something similar off mine, but it's personal preference. I figure if I did lose it, I have enough business cards in the thing (even some in the pocket intended for them!) that somebody could find me. It's not like I have anything in there worth stealing...

You could also take the hang tag off the briefcase and use it for another piece of luggage.

Keep it if you are travelling, but for everyday use its best to remove them.
