Biased, but I still think worth reading.

In any case, for liberal publications I must prefer the Atlantic although I pick up TNY now and then.

I used to read the New Yorker pretty religiously in the late 90s. There were some amazing stories about the most interesting people, and their struggles literally made you cry. There was one about a guy who chased giant man eating/ship killing squid I remember quite well.

After the goracle lost it was all, as mentioned by others, bush bad evil monkey haliburton.

Sad really.
