looking to start stocking up on items for spring. id prefer some slim fitting shorts

i saw some from jcrew online "Premium officer's chino short" but can't tell if they are slim. theres no fit pics of shorts on most websites which is annoying.

i also looked at polo.com but didnt know what to choose from.

what do you guys turn to for shorts?

I'm gonna go all **** and get some shorter shorts this summer. Angus Young length sounds about right.

You'll be fine.

I have some great Raf by RS shorts too. I just saw R by RS FW09 and it looks really cool.

What do you guys think of cuffed shorts? I purchased some incotex ones, and they sit up fairly high on the legs and are decidedly slim. They *almost have a 70s vibe going or something. I've found that they don't really work with t-shirts, but things like a long sleeve or short sleeve polo seem pretty classic.

Fashion win or fashion fail?

Also, does anyone have images of the Raf shorts mentioned?

I have a pair of cotton shorts from Steven Alan that I really like. Copped on eBay for like $30. I will likely pick up a pair of those Splendid Mills shorts Mauro was peddling before the warm weather gets here.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've been pondering the same thing. I've been thinking about getting a pair of JCrew chino shorts, but I'm not sure about the length. Looking for something to hit a little above the knee, without going into mid-thigh territory (I'm a little hairy and no one needs to see that.). I'm about 6 foot, thin, and averagely proportioned. 7" length? 9"? Any thoughts?

mauro i see your woolrich woolen mills shorts in the ranger style. whats the inseam on those? anything smaller than 30? i run like a 26 apc to translate to like 28 in normal waist size.

do you got pics of your other ones from nice collective (not swim trunks) and any other shorts you got?

i would also like some cheaper priced shorts like under 100 such as jcrew. if anyone else has opinions

Jorts made from old jeans. I'm gonna keep a banana in my pocket Bon Scott-style.

+1, usually i have no trouble finding shorts thrifting as well, though the nico trunks may be worth my pennies.
