i have a wool tie that is too long, so the back end is always protruding below the front when i wear it. are there any solutions to this, ie. can a tailor actually cut a tie to make it shorter, or will that wreck it?

A good tailor should be able to do this. however it can be pricey so if its a 30-40 tie prob not worth it unless you absolutely love the tie.

At first glance, I thought the title was "shortening a life." [IMG]
