The Brooks Brothers Black Fleece line has a nice collection of them.

For some reason i'm not a big fan of s/s button downs. I'd rather just take l/s ones and roll the sleeves.

I don't wear them, either. Long sleeves rolled is much better IMO. Nonetheless, for those who do wear them, BF has some nice s/s shirts.

I used to think this way but fabrics are usually much lighter and there are designed s/s button ups that they don't make in l/s versions of so now I have a few.

I was going to say Thom or Jil until he said affordable.

I have a few of these. I like them more than polos for a similar application.

If he's wearing Black Fleece, isn't he already in him?

Don't get a l/s and roll it. Looks terrible most of the time. S/S buttondowns rule, get into it.

and if Ben Sherman is "pricey" then most anything that gets recommended here will be completely out of your range.
