Now, you had to go spoil the surprise - I got one too, and am having them both custom embroidered (my treat) "10.5 - 40R" across the back....

I went this afternoon like walking into a candy store. Very good selections of Borrelli, Kiton, Attolini, Isaia, Barba, Finamore, Avon Celli.... with suits, jackets, overcoats, pants, shirts & ties. Very good prices too. You should check out the Attolini suits, amazing workmanship and materials.

Again it is this coming weekend Nov. 17th, 18th, and 19th. 9am to 6pm at the:

Bryant Park Hotel
40 West 40th Street
New York, New York 10018

This luxury boutique hotel is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan. To gain access to the suite my understanding is all you will have to do is use my name with security.

Should you need to call me for any reason I will have a dedicated cell for the trip. The number is 310-406-4733. I will be bringing a credit card machine and all major credit cards will be accepted.

If you cannot come to the event yourself because you are too busy or unavailable, PLEASE refer as many clients as possible to the event. A luxury event like this, in a large suite, in a boutique hotel overlooking Bryant Park is VERY expensive to put on. I am hoping this will be the 1st of many to come, but I am relying on the true fans to make this as big as a success as possible.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

Best regards,

Ian Daniels

I just came back from the trunk show. Lots of Borrelli, Barba, Finamore and very good selection of Attolini, Kiton, Isaia, Avon Celli.... The advantage of going to show is you can try them for fit, touch them for feel, not having to pay shipping plus there're tons of goodies that haven't been listed on the website yet. I saw Attolini suits for the first time, simiply sublime.

Ian is a perfect salesman, I wish there could be more salemen like him. He'd let you alone to browse at your own pace without any pressure and offer you unbiased advices when you ask him for them. I highly recommed the trunk show. Check it out even if you're not planning on buying as there's no pressure to do so, when you're ready to buy on the web you'd have very good idea what you're going to get.

I stopped by yesterday evening. Nice little suite overlooking the skating rink in Bryant Park. Lots of nice stuff! From what I could tell: Borrelli sport jackets, suits & overcoats; Kiton sport coats & suits, Isaia suits, Attollini jackets, suits & overcoats; a few Avon Celli sweaters; Borrelli, Finamore, Barba & Anna Matuozzo shirts; tons of ties (AM, Barba, Kiton seemed to be the bulk of it) & sundry pants - I'm sure I missed some things.

Ian is a nice super nice guy, and talked about possibly making this a regular (semi-annual?) event. I hope some of you guys popped in on Sunday to help convince Mr. Daniels that this would be worthwhile!

When I mentioned that you thought 10.5 was a little on the short side, the embroiderer smiled and said he would like to measure you personally in order to get a more precise "sizing"....

I agree...the selection was impressive and I think Ian did a great job...there is just no substitute for seeing and feeling the goods in person. I understand that what he brought represents less than 20% of what's in his warehouse....all I can say is that must be some warehouse!
