Quick Q about Shopthefinest.com.

Are the detailed measurements on the website accurate? I'm looking at shirts like this http://www.shopthefinest.com/showpr...SEName=luigi-borrelli-pink-shirt-155-us-39-eu and the detailed measurements indicate a chest size of 44 despite being a extra-slim fit. Everywhere I read I see makers like Borelli being extremely slim fitting but when compared to other makers like Brooks Brothers (a 38 chest for the same size) the measurements on STF don't match up.

Also the sleeve length for this particular shirt is listed at a ridiculous 37.75. I cannot imagine a person with just a 15.5 neck having arms this long.

Is this just a problem for the listed sizing or is there something else that I am missing about slimfit shirts?

Have you noticed that italian shirts usually do not have a marked sleeve length? They usually come with fairly long sleeves that are then shortened to your arm length. It's relatively easy to shorten; obviously impossible to lengthen.
As for chest, can't speak to this exact shirt, but there is no way a Brooks ESF measures 38 in at the chest for a 15.5 collar. That would be literally skin tight. There has to be some room for you to move in the shirt. A 44 in chest would fit reasonably trim (but probably not extra-slim) on a 40 in chest, and more traditionally on a 38 in chest.
