This is a great site and I find myself checking it daily, but man what a bad influence. Because of this site, I think I've spent $3,000 -$5,000 over the last 2 months on clothes. I've been traveling a lot and luckily its taken me to some great cities (Venice, Florence, Rome, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong) I'm out here in L.A. Without this site, I wouldn't have known about places like WW Chan in Hong Kong.

Partial list of what I bought:

What I've bought recently:

WW Chan - one suit, 3 shirts

Mannina shoes (Florence)

Florence school of leather - bought a wallet and belt

Sonomitsu - http://www.sonomitsu.com

these guys were really cool. I wanted to get some custom shoes and after calling around in Tokyo, I settled on these guys, partly due to pricing. Some of the other options in Tokyo were too expensive. It was about a 25 min train ride from Shinjuku, a small residential neighborhood. I actually got lost on the way, I first went to their workshop on accident. I should have taken a picture, there were 2 guys working by hand on shoes, there were quite a bit shoes in there. Finally had to stop at a koban (police box) to ask for help. I finally found the location. The shop is real small and they have a bunch of shoes as samples. In the short time I was there, quite a few people came through to shop. Its not bespoke, but they have a range of styles that they do, so you just choose the type of leather and color that you want, then they measure you. In comparison to Mannina shoes in Florence, the difference was that Mannina did bespoke and their shoes were goodyear welted. I didn't mind having to choose from a book, I don't think I would have known what I wanted unless I had some choices in front of me. I put my order in, now I have to wait till June to get delivery. Hopefully they turn out good, I'd like to make them my place where I get shoes, as I go to Japan every year (and would like to move back) Pics below
