Shopping recommendations in Montreal?

I'm going to be in Montreal this coming week, and I was wondering if anybody had recommendations of where to go shopping for general streetwear (including shoes and a sports jacket).

I'm already planning to go to U & I to try on a pair of APCs (and purchase it if it's not much more expensive than the online price).

What other places would you recommend? Are there any places with good quality clothing but heavily discounted (sales, outlets, etc)?

I would go to Reborn in the old port. Don't expect U&I to have cheap apc, the prices are crazy. You might want to go to Duo on Prince-Arthur or even Simons (2nd floor).

Prices are U&I are quite bad. For example, they were selling Barking Irons t-shirt for 115$ last time I've been there, that's quite ridiculous. A pair of APC jeans will set you back something like 185$ before taxes. The few times I've been there, they didn't have the raw NS. They do have Acne and I think they now have April 77 though.

Simons doesn't carry APC and barely has any Nudies. For Nudies, I would think that your best bet would be Men's on Ste-Catherine.
