Hello all,
Looking for your advice on the best shopping opportunities in Asia - just found myself stepping up for the colleague on a 1.5 week long business trip.
Will be visiting the following countries:
China (beijing)
Hong kong
Taiwan
Thailand (Bangkok )
Malaysia (kl)
Singapore

Would really appreciate the advice on what should I look for in any of these places. Will have a spare Saturday in HK but could potentially find time in the other places as well. Would be interested in bespoke tailoring, shoes but any worthy casual clothing options as well

Sorry for the rambling post - typing from my iPad at the airport gate ;)

Thanks a mil for all responses.

Hi Alex,

Out of all the cities you mentioned, Hong Kong is probably the best place for shopping. Hong Kong has more to offer and at better prices than Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

I don't think I will buy anything in Beijing.

Enjoy Asia.

Hong Kong. Go to WW Chan or one of the other big names for bespoke tailoring--note that they will not be able to finish anything while you are there, but could at least take your measurements and get the project started. Also go to The Armoury.
