Okay well persian new year just rolled around and I got about 275 bucks spending money to blow in LA tomorrow!

Which shops should I hit while there?!?

I'm not too formal, but I would describe myself as having a very sophisticated style for my age, 18. I like fitted clothes like nice denim, and slim fit tees with graphics or not. I like cardigans, coats, all that. I'm really into sneakers but I'm looking for a nice pair of boat shoes, where could I find one? Also, where could I find a nice chain(like a dogtag, but not haha)

I heard revolve clothing has a boutique...would you guys recommend going?

Just please list all the hot spots a guy like me should go

Thanks all!

Secret Service LA
Mister Freedom
Stronghold

Those are the three places I'd go to if/when I make it to LA. But, I bet you'd probably like Secret Service LA more than the other two. Look up^ They are a forum affiliate.

everytime I hear someone say 'I have x dollars to blow' a small part of me wants to do terrible things to said person.

yes, it is jealousy... but the notion of someone deciding how to spend (in my case anyhow) a weeks wages in one day, the day before their trip really REALLY irks me.

but yes, go to the places Zissou suggested.

No idea where they are in relation to each other. Also, try American Rag.

They're not even remotely close together. Read here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...light=la+shops http://www.styleforum.net/showthread...light=la+shops http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...aa04d1b0612958 You should definitely visit these stores but at 18 years-old I'm not sure how much of an appreciation you'll get for them. Also, not to discourage you, but if you're looking to build an outfit with $275 then you should be window browsing these stores; Secret Service might be the only exception.

Enjoy your new socks, t shirt and your underwhelming chain Churrascaria.

Okay...I've narrowed down the things I want: A chain, some tees, a pair of boat shoes, maybe some jeans. Where Can I go about finding a nice chain and some nice boat shoes among the places I'm planning on hitting?

Animal House on Windward in Venice is great for good quality vintage and you can get a lot for yr. money.
Cheers.
