shooting kids is fun

Went to paintball with a bunch of guys from work today. We were only 10 so our group got mixed with another group that included a bunch of kids from a baseball team. I took out like 5 kids in one round. So proud of myself.

Seriously though, the little F***ers have a natural advantage in that they don't have to crouch down all the time, which is freaking rough on your quads. Maybe those Africans are on to something.

I used to paintball when I was a kid and would kick the ass of the Military guys that would try to play. Always fun to see a 6'5" Army Ranger get angry when a 14 year old beats him.

It's the mentality of the games that always gets people. Head checks+snap shooting= win, not t3h ubR 1337 Tippy98 Snyper with mah barrelz*.




*I was this kid in 5th grade. Then I started playing tournament ball and learned better.

I've never paintballed, but I joked with a workmate who was trying to get me to go with her one weekend that if anyone shot at me I might flip-out, fix bayonet and charge!

Interesting. I was playing laser tag about 6 months ago and the other team was racking up ridiculously high scores. When we finished up and re-assembled, they all looked like DEA agents or military. I suspected they had some training and/or used some rudimentary teamwork.

Edit: Shooting kids in laser tag is also fun.
