    C&J makes for Paul Stuart too:

    Westfield = Westbourne
    Preston = Exmoor
    Earl = Monkton
    Mervin = Merton

    Probably others as well.

    A couple of years ago I asked the shoe guy in the NYC store if the PS Newbury was by Carmina and he said no. I tried to get the manufacturer out of him and he just said it was a very small producer and I wouldn't have heard of them before. Fair enough. It's possible Carmina makes other Spanish made shoes for them but they definitely don't make the Newbury anyway.

    Since then I've learned that Juan Laceral makes the Spanish shoes for Paul Evans, including models such as the Cagney which feature folded seams like the PS Newbury does. Impossible to know without directly comparing them, but I've wondered if Juan Laceral might make shoes for PS too. I'm not sure how common folded seams are in Spanish made shoes but the quality looks similar.
