Can anyone tell me what kind of (brown) shoes should I wear with a navy, gold buttoned blazer; light blue shirt and beige/khaki dress pants?

^^ What's wrong with a chocolate suede there?

Depending on the occasion, I am actually a HUGE fan of burgundy pennies with that ensemble.

Wear burgundy penny loafer and you have yourself a California tuxedo ensemble.

Lol yeah, it's really not the best, but I don't have any pictures of mine, so I had to seach the internet for that combination and, well, this is all that came up (and that blazer isn't even double breasted).

I'm kinda leaning more towards monkstraps now...

The question really is not what to wear with that ensemble, but what NOT to wear. The navy blazer/khaki pants combo is so classic that almost anything will work

+1

Sub white pants and you could wear espadrilles or fisherman sandals. Sub gray wool pants and you could wear black cap toes.

Now that's a pretty good idea.

+1. In point of fact, I often have.

I have been wearing a brass-buttoned navy blazer with khakis and a maroon and white striped shirt today. My shoes are the A-E Ashton in merlot. I would avoid black with the khaki parts, but just about any shade of brown, burgundy, chili or tan goes well with such an ensemble.
