Can't really see the jeans in the picture but I would recommend wearing a chukka of desert boot in a tan or brown. The boot being since you'll be dressing the outfit down by wearing jeans.

More info would help others help. (What is the event, jean color, etc.)

If it was me, I'd go for off white or pale cream trousers with plain black shoes not brogues. I'd go with a pale blue solid pattern shirt or a black and white gingham pattern, both with button collars. I wouldn't wear a neck tie unless it's a DB blazer and I'd probably go with a loosely folded pocket square in a blue, navy and gold pattern.

Medium to dark brown would be a versatile shoe color ... goes well with khakis, jeans, but also light or mid grey flannels etc.

Second the medium to dark brown, perhaps a brogue, since you are going for a semi casual look. Plus, I like brogues :)

Sorry can't view pics on Image Shack, as it's United States only.

Works for me. Perhaps ImageShack is censored in your country?

Anyway, ill second (or third) dark brown brogues. Tan desert boots are really nice idea - but it's a specific look, and not as versatile.
