1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    $100??

Yes, I know, but it's hard to find quality footwear like the type you're after for that little money. Hopefully others here will be able to help you with that.

Can you give me any comfortable suggestions for that kind of style casual shoe for around $100?

If you're looking for a pair of boots, get the Clarks. They're not as slim as they look in the advertising photos—they have thick, heavy crêpe soles, and a broad, plodding cut. They also run between a half and full size bigger than most shoes, so size down. If you want something you can wear instead of blüchers, get the chukkas from Loake or Grenson or Tricker's.

I suggest the Clarks if you want something to wear with jeans when you'd otherwise wear sneakers or heavier boots. Then if you decide you want something more elegant, pick up another pair from one of the better brands.

Are suede shoes hard to keep up? Like if rain gets on them do they get ruined?
