You can look at Allen Edmonds from the factory second shop on ebay for around $150 - http://myworld.ebay.com/allenedmonds No duty shipping to Canada, which is nice.

Paul Smith makes a better looking version of that for about the same price.

Have you ordered from them and found this? Is the why they charge $40 for shipping?

I have ordered from them several times, and have never been charged shipping. The $40 is for UPS, but if you ask at time of purchase, they will send USPS for $20, and no duty either way. My shoes have arrived in about 3-6 days with either delivery system (i.e. ship via USPS and save the $20).

Agreed - I'm dealing with them right now in fact and they are charging $25 via USPS and since AE is made in US, NAFTA is in effect and so you technically get charged only GST/PST.

As well, the person I am dealing with at AE is *still* honouring the 15% off price for one shoe. I'm going to see if they honour the buy one, get the second at 50% off.

I've read a lot of topics about this and it sounds like there are no deep discounts - its mainly for seeing different types of styles and trying on the sizes not normally available (non-D sizes)

on the site they range from 170 GBP and up, where are you finding them for cheaper than that?
