Linux, Sarah is ok to buy you one pair, guess which one?...

Don't forget you will not pay the full price (you don't pay the VAT)

Some of them look like Berluti. Or maybe Corthay. But then some of them I really like, and I tend not to like those, so who knows.

These are Berlutis and Papes and a few others. Pape is a store in the 7th near the Eiffel Tower which sells upscale Arnys-like clothing with Berluti-like shoes. Somewhat cheaper too.

She bought me one of these shoes?  Which ones?
The ones with the big Frankenstein stitch on the vamp. Sorry.

Those are hideous. Truly hideous. Would someone actually wear those with a suit? They're bizarre. I should get some new job interviews and show up in those. People would think I was starving and take pity. "Look at the guy's shoes, he probably hasn't eaten in days."

On the other hand, if it's the U-cap or the plain cap, then you are one lucky dude. Those are spectacular looking shoes. The monks and the loafers don't look too bad, either.

I bought a pair of monkstrap Certo's from discostu (virtualclotheshorse.com) for $120, and they are very nice shoes. If nobody has tried those yet, I would suggest it.
