do all brands of shoe trees have a designated LEFT and RIGHT tree?

Or are there exceptions--and only some brands have left/right trees?

yeah....

it's just I seem to have about 5 shoes tree pairs....they look alright, like a left and a right....except that for each pair, both trees are labelled with a "L" underneath....

Are shoe trees usually labelled L and R?

sincerely,
Utterly F. Confused.

The shape of the shoe trees should tell you which goes in which shoe. The tapered end should face outward and the flat side should be on the bottom.
