The thread isn't on this forum, but it is a classic: http://supertalk.superfuture.com/showthread.php?t=13257 Mostly boots in the thread, ranging from dressy to workwear. Alden Indy boots are always a good option. White's semi-dress is popular. Red Wing Gentleman Travelers are also popular. Tricker's stow is a nice boot, but probably dressy compared to what you're looking for.

Thanks but I was looking for tennis/casual shoes. Vans/chucks/ paul smith casual/diesel etc.

I was thinking about starting a thread similar to the "shoes that look better with age.." one from SuFu. I think it would be beneficial here because a lot of people at SF have a different perspective on boots and shoes than the people at SuFu....
