Hi guys,

I'm from SE Asia here wanting to order shoes from either one of these two shops.
I know that I am 43 EU in my Italian balmorals; by conversion tables that translates to UK 9. Does Grenson Rushden or Loake run true to this?

Also, how do these two brands compare in terms of sizing? Because I have some Loake stock in town (they're overpriced, limited, and blobbier than the web pics, I don't know why) so I can check the sizing- this will help me with the first question as well.

Thanks!

I'm also a 43 and found Loake 9F (they use F as their medium width, rather than E as many other Enlih makers do) to be a bit big, but I'm pretty happy with the fit in 8.5F. This is for the Buckingham on the Capital last and the Kempton chukka on the 026 last.

I've found with Loakes to size down one full size from your normal size. Same with C&J.

I am a US 10D usually, so I wear a 9F in Loakes. I will say a lot of the Loakes are a little clunky. I wish they came in E.

I will say its better to save the money and spring for a pair of C&J's. Loakes are affordable but the quality and style is meh..
