Hello,

I have some Churches Loafers I am very fond of. So much so that i wear them almost always casually and have worn the hell out of them. There is nothing specifically wrong with them, they are just worn down at the front sides.

is it worth trying to get them properly cleaned / fixed? is there anything a cobbler could do?

and where should i go for such a thing? Central/tst preferred

Send them back to Church's to resole.
You will get them bask as good as a new pair.

If you need to get them resoled I can recommend a good (but fairly expensive) cobbler I've used in the past.

To do a full resole, you can go to Theatre Lane in Central, it has 3 to 4 cobblers doing that.
They do a fair job, you can exam their work first and then decide to do it or not.
Most people don't resole shoe in Hong Kong, those cobblers in Central get most of the resoling jobs. Of course you can ask the shoemakers to do it, I think most of the shoemakers in HK also accept resole, even the shoes were not made by them.

its not the sole, it's the actual leather above the sole at the front... it's softened a lot
