There are very few places in London that one can entrust with refurbishing high-end shoes, Kokos is one of them and probably the best.

Kokos is a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen and an authorised repairer for Church’s shoes. Notwithstanding they are capable of repairing shoes from other esteemed shoe makers. George the owner started working as a cobbler since he was 18 years old, he is now 60 and rather passionate about what he does.

I have used Kokos over a few years for different repair jobs, below are pictures to illustrate some of the jobs Kokos has undertaken for me:

The refurbishment also includes polishing of the shoes to a high shine using Saphire products.

Prices as of today:
Standard long leather sole £109
Standard half leather sole £45 (depends on condition of sole/welt)
Rubber long sole (commando and dainite) £105
Rubber long sole (hybrid) £115
Half rubber sole £39
Fiddle waist depends on last and construction.

Although I visited the shop in person, Kokos offer a collection and delivery service; £10 for anywhere in the UK (UPS service). Overseas customers will need to call the shop for charges.

Telephone: 020 8883 0876

Disclaimer: I did not receive a free service, discount or payment for this write-up. I just hope this proves useful to those looking to refurbish their well-prized shoes.

Thanks for this mini-review and recommendation. I know the shop in question, used to drive past it when I lived in Camden Town.
