shoe question

I have thise brown suede shoes mede in england, but I can only read the three first letters "MAC...", than "crafted since 1884", what could the brand posibly be? and if identified whats the reputation, as long as they look very decent.

I can't think of any extant British shoe manufacturers begining with MAC and the only company dating from 1884 I can find is Alden (but that;'s New England!).

Photo's might help someone with more knowledge than me.

Thanks, here are pics, I cant cach the faintetd sign "Mac......" or "MAO......." or "MAG....." on cam, the "Crafted since ..." is writen up the brand's loggo inside a triangle.
