I have a pair very similar to these, but with the 360 degree norvegese. I like Sutor VERY much, the finish on the shoes is excellent!

Very cool shoes, and the antiquing is beautiful (as we'd expect from RR).

I have these same testoni's, and I don't believe they are true norvegese. I don't think that stitch on the side attaches directly to the sole (traditional norvegese). I am pretty sure the stitch is just ornamental.

What construction is it? They call it norvegese and it's testoni's top of the line (amedeo testoni)

http://www.testoni.com/ under A. Testoni, click on norwegian construction

Kolecho, I am literally green with envy! I KNEW if I added goyser to the title, you'd shoe us some of your beautiful Vass. Not too long ago, I hesitated JUST A SECOND when you put these in whiskey up for sale... GONE! SH*T! But, since we're about the same size (41), I'm waiting for you to get tired of some whiskey shell wingtips with the beautiful goyser!

luk-cha... wonderful post as always. I never knew G&G had such shoes. I always appreciated the beautiful lines of their shoes, but yearned to see some STITCHING! I think this adds a certain dimension of "toughness" to the style. These are wonderful.
