Hey everyone, another noob post by me.

I'm planning to take a trip down to Vegas just before Christmas hits and plan to do a little shopping. Did a few searches for shoes on the forum but the hits were pretty overwhelming, tons of brands, etc.

I was planning to spend between 150-300 on a pair, maybe some of you could point me in the right direction regarding brand or any particular places near the strip? An outlet or somewhere I could get a nice deal that I couldn't get in Vancouver.

Thanks!

Alan Edmonds fit your budget, yet you can probably get those in Canada. Nordstrom carries this brand and there is a HUGE mall on the strip, forgot the name but it is across the street from Wynn Casino.

Funny that you say that I was just checking out the Allen Edmonds site, really like the classic look and style.

I googled the mall and it is Fashion Show Mall on Las Vegas Blvd.

Don't waste your time at the Zappos outlet. It's complete trash.
The Sak's outlet is pretty bad too.
The Neiman Last Call in Primm isn't bad for clothes but for shoes it's pretty bad too although last week I found a pair of Paul Smith Triumph boots for $140.

Barney's had a bunch of stuff on sale.
Neiman Marcus had some stuff on sale too.
Sak's sale shoes were pretty bad.
Nordstrom's men's sale doesn't start until the 26th although they had some stuff on sale the other day in Seattle.

Oh, Barney's is in the Venetian, NM, Sak's, Nordstrom are in Fashion Show.
Caesar's has Ferragamo, Tod's, Testoni, Zegna. Testoni always has a sale rack.
That's about all I can think of in terms of men's shoes.

+!

I was in Vegas a couple of months ago and the above comments are spot on. Stay away from Zappos at all cost!! If you have the time take a trip out to Primm in visit the NLC. They had junk for shoes but a huge assortment of ties (Borrelli, Kiton, etc) for cheap. I saw some decent RLPL shirts on the sales rack but none in my size.

The Fashion Mall is decent and most of the stores have some sales racks.
