Hi all,
I picked up a nice-looking pair of chelseas as the local thrift shop. Upper and interior are tan calf, and the sole is goodyear welted (looks to be original, too). The sole indicates the boots are made in England, and the footbed reads, "Made in England exclusively for Mountfords of Melbourne".
Has anyone here heard of this brand? If so, any guesses as to which English shoemaker made them, and when?
Many thanks,
Geoff
