I have recently purchased a pair of AE Cliftons and unlike my other rotation work shoe (Loake Dorchester) I did not get a topy on the heel as it already has a rubber heel. I am finding however the lower heal height to be noticeable when I walk. I know that for some Topy's of any type is sacrilege and there is the usual mention of ruining the shoe balance and etc so please lets not go down that path. The question really is how bad will it be for me to be wearing a different heel height every other day. I already noticed some discomfort with the AE Cliftons in terms of heel strike and rolling the foot forward. I am happy to leave as is provided there is not long term potential effect on me physically. The original Loake heel is about the same size at the AEs. The heal Topy adds an additional 7mm.

Other than that the AE Cliftons are exceptional. I keep running into things as I am continually looking at my feet.
