I walk by it nearly every day. It is a beautiful store, unfortunately I hardly ever see anyone in it. They recently started selling a nice selection of ties.

Interesting you say that. I also walk by it on a regular basis and it is always empty. Hope it lasts......

The problem with ordering shoes/clothes from a small store in the current environment is you don't know if they'll still be open when they're finished. For now, I'm only buying what I can take home today.

or.... we should get shoes there to support them in this economy. I would rather shop and support a shop like Leffot than a big store like NM or BG who does little in the way of service or exclusivity.

I wanted to do a special order from Aubercy; they told me not possible.

I don't understand their support of the Psycho Bunny brand.

No reason given?

If they can give me a good discount I would be willing to go down there and buy from them.

There's no way I would pay retail.

Something about Aubercy not wanting to expand. I like Leffot and hope that they continue, but I don't have to go downtown for the other shoes that they carry. I can order Corthay direct from Paris, EG takes email orders for its bi-annual sale, G&G's trunk shoe is in midtown, and the J.M Weston boutique is on the UES. I have no interest in the rest. They should get Stefano Bemer or maybe carry Gallo socks....

Have not been in the store. I have to visit the shop next trip to the big city.
